Standard German Course
This course provides students with the fundementals of the German language including grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking and also with enough free time to explore and enjoy Germany at leisure!

Intensive German Language Course
The Intensive Course consists of all the fundamentals of the Standard Course plus time to focus on and discuss current events, politics, science and culture. This course is perfect for the student that wants to make fast progress with the German language.  The knowledge acquired in class will be supplemented in special classes twice a week in the afternoons. The Intensive German Course is also a very good choice if you want to focus on preparing a German language exam such as the GfdS or Goethe exam.

Host Family
Living with a German host family will give you many opportunities to practice your new language skills and participate in German life daily.  Host families generally provide a private room with breakfast only or breakfast & dinner options. German host families come from many different background and walks of life; the host family may or may not include children, sometimes single parents, elderly couples or any other host that can provide a clean, safe accommodation and a nice experience in Germany.

Youth Hostel
For mature students who prefer independence and more responsibility, German youth hostels provide clean, modern accommodation for travelers and students who prefer to cook for themselves and live with other young people from around the world.  Youth hostels generally provide a private or shared accommodation and breakfast.

Berlin – The New Former Capital
Berlin is a hip, new metropolis filled with many trendy boutiques, cafes and clubs. It is a very cultured, historical city with the lovely gardens in Prenzlauer Berg, the Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz, Museum Island.

Join a Berlin sightseeing tour for only 2 Euros! Alexanderplatz is a short walk away from did deutsch institut; bus #100 will take you on your Berlin city tour! You will see the TV Tower – the Fernsehturm – and after you will find the Berlin Town Hall and the famous Museum Island. Catch a glimpse of the Berlin Cathedral, the State Opera House and Humboldt University. Stay on the bus and you will see Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, the House of Cultures. Next Stop will be Tiergarten and Bellevue Castle – seat of the German president – and the Victory Column. Zoo Train Station is the last stop. If you want to see more – join students on school-organised excursions after class!

Frankfurt – A German Metropolis
Frankfurt is rich and elegant, busy and hectic – it is the home of the German Stock Exchange and also the most important financial city in Germany! Behind the skyscrapers and glamorous skyline you will find many theatres, museums, galleries and clubs!

Frankfurt has far less inhabitants than Munich or Berlin but is just as international and cosmopolitan as any other German city. Frankfurt is extremely diverse, with many international guest and visitors coming for business as well as 28% if fellow citizens coming from approximately 180 different countries! In the summertime you will notice how colorful this city is: During the Culture Parade groups from different ethnic backgrounds parade through the streets dancing in traditional costumes to ethnic music.

Hamburg – The Venice of the North
Hamburg is Germany’s second largest city and is considered the Venice of the North. Everywhere in the city it becomes obvious, how much people here enjoy life on the waterside – on the traditional fish-market where early risers and tourists taste the delicacies of the North Sea as well as in the bars on the banks of Elbe river, where in the evenings the party crowd settles in beach chairs for barbecues and picnics.

Battered fishing boats cruise in front of noble luxury liners, modern carrier ships anchor next to sailing boats. Germany’s gate to the world, as Hamburg harbor is called, is a fascinating world of its own – which students can explore with many school-organised activities.

Munich – A City of Beer, Culture & Tradition
Munich is the third largest German city with 1.3 million inhabitants sure to impress with its warmheartedness and joy of life. With Oktoberfest, beer-gardens and Bavarian brass music, no other city is a better example for German tradition and culture than the Bavarian capital. With 10 universities and more than 80.000 students it is no problem to be a young and lively city!
