Capilano: the west coast rainforest in my backyard!

Following the Travel Blog Exchange in June, I made use of my generous media pass, courtesy of Tourism Vancouver, to be a sight-seer in my own city and check out some of the best that Metro Vancouver has to offer.  Capilano Suspension Bridge, dangling 70 metres above Capilano River, is always impressive, lush and majestic so I was very happy to have another wander around this beautiful, rain-forested park.  In addition to the amazing suspension bridge, Capilano park boasts the not-for-the-faint-of-heart Cliffwalk as well as the much-loved Treetops Adventure!

Unbeknownst to me, BC residents can enjoy unlimited admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge for one full year for the same price as a one day admission!  Yearly membership costs only $32.95 plus HST.  BC resident membership includes:

* Unlimited admission to Capilano Suspension Bridge for one full year
* 10% off at the attraction’s Trading Post Gift Shop
* 10% off food and beverage at Canyon Cafe, Loggers’ Grill and Bridge House Restaurant
* 15% off admission for all accompanying guests when you return for your second visit
* Access to special attraction events throughout the year, including Harvest Festival, Canyon Lights and Canada Day.

Check out the Cap Bridge website here for more details!
